Joseph's Bakery, an authentic flatbread maker, has been baking fresh bread since 1972. Founded by Joseph Boghos in Lowell, Massachusetts, the small local bakery originally focused on pita bread. Due to the high demand for their delicious products, Joseph's Bakery expanded its reach across New England and beyond, establishing a strong foundation for growth.

Today, Joseph's Bakery is a majority women-owned business, now in its third generation under the leadership of the Boghos family. Celebrating its 50th anniversary in October 2022, Joseph's Bakery remains committed to producing high-quality pita and flatbreads that have become synonymous with their name. In addition to their renowned pita bread, Joseph's Bakery also offers lavash and wraps among their wide selection of flatbreads.

Originally hailing from Damascus, Syria, Joseph Boghos brought his family to the Boston area in 1952. Missing the authentic flavors of his homeland, he began recreating traditional dishes, including an authentic pita bread recipe that had been passed down through generations of his family.

All of Joseph's Bakery products are vegan, with the exception of the Honey-Wheat Lavash, which is suitable for vegetarians due to the inclusion of honey. Joseph's products can be stored at room temperature or in the freezer for up to a year, making them convenient for various culinary uses such as flatbread pizzas, sandwiches, and appetizer spreads.

With a certification as a Kosher bakery for over 35 years, Joseph's Bakery ensures that their products meet strict kosher standards.
