Joseph's Bakery, established in 1972 by Joseph Boghos, has been baking authentic flatbread since its inception. Originating in Lowell, Massachusetts, our dedicated commitment to quality and customer service has fueled our growth throughout New England and beyond. Today, as a majority women-owned business under the leadership of the third generation of the Boghos family, we are proud to celebrate our upcoming milestone of 50 years of crafting pita and flatbreads.

While pita bread remains our signature product, Joseph's Bakery offers a variety of flatbreads, including lavash and wraps. Joseph Boghos, a Syrian immigrant, first ventured into bread-making in 1952 in the greater Boston area. Drawing from his family's handed-down recipe, he introduced authentic pita bread to recreate the flavors of his homeland.

All of Joseph's Bakery products are vegan, with the exception of our Honey-Wheat Lavash. To maintain freshness, store our products at room temperature or in the freezer for up to a year.
